The most enjoyable business book I’ve ever read.

This book reflects Innocents ethos and style by being both charming in nature and packed full of goodness. It’s such an easy and fun read, about having ideas, making drinks, running a business and getting started, about nature and fruit, company life and working with friends, about the stuff they got right and the stuff they got wrong, and doing the right thing. I couldn’t put it down, it’s just a Brilliant Book from 3 inspiring founders who built a multi million pound company - a must read for all entrepreneurs, marketers, sales, finance or business people

A must read for anyone building a web app.

The manual on how they built Basecamp, 14 years on, still with timeless takeaways. Designers working in tech will definitely find value and inspiration in this book.

Gone is the age of left-brain dominance, the future belongs to a different kind of person.

Being born right and left brain, a creative fascinated by tech, i’ve loved being apart of the technology that has changed our world, by the brilliant minds of those left brainers. But this book teases with what’s next, a future thats built by those who were born creative.

Why financial education should be taught in school

I’ve been on a life long pursuit to understand how money works. We learn money at home, and schools do nothing to teach us about how money works. This book helped be that teacher I never had.

Starting a business, read this first!

I love both Shark Tank and Dragons Den. This book has invaluable advice for anyone thinking of starting a business or already has one. They say its better and faster to learn from other peoples mistakes than your own, growing up in a family who loved starting businesses, this was a book I wish we had. If you’re thinking of starting your own business get this book, it’s like having your very own dragon on your bookshelf, with advice from someone who has actually done it. I find myself constantly picking it up and seeing something new every time.

Reading…

I picked up this book because of my curiosity for designing apps. The quote on the cover got me reading. 'George Berkowski was the head of product at Hailo, an app similar to Uber, that lets people hail a licensed taxi. The contents page alone reveals a journey with no stone left unturned; taking a deep dive into the mobile app world. With quotes like “A must-read for anyone who wants to know what it takes to build an app into a successful business” I couldn’t resist.
